Different strokes for different folks.
This one's for Sly Stone. Out of the San Francisco Bay Area, Sly and the Family Stone put Black and white, men and women on the same stage at a time when most bands didn't. Then they sang "Everyday People" and made the whole country listen.
Look at the flag. In 1971 Sly put his own twist on the stars and stripes for the cover of There's a Riot Goin' On. This design does the same thing, with Sly's crown of hair holding up the stars.
Red stripes. Black and white portrait. All funk, no fear.
